At our RD location, Roots, we test our current assortment twice a year for shelf life and blooming duration. We do all this testing, to ensure that only the best quality varieties are good enough for our assortment. The ‘secret’ lies in the strong roots of our orchids. Their robust roots grow into branches full of flowers, allowing you to enjoy magnificent flowering for up to 90 days!
Additionally, we annually test hundreds of new varieties to renew or optimize our assortment. This is done exclusively at our Roots location, which is equipped with the latest facilities. Only 1 to 2% of these new varieties secure a place in our assortment. . In our tests, we evaluate color, number of branches, number of flowers, and performance in blooming duration.
